Brownlow Health General Practice in Liverpool has been rated overall Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission. This is an excellent achievement of which less than 4% of General Practices Nationally have been rated.
Professor Steve Field, Chief Inspector of General Practice, stated ‘The practice used innovative and proactive methods to improve patient outcomes, working with other local providers to share best practice. For example, the support given to homeless patients and the support given by student services. Feedback from patients about their care was consistently positive.’
Dr Ed Gaynor, GP at Brownlow said ‘We’re really proud of this achievement – a whole team approach which demonstrates our commitment to delivering high quality patient centered care.’
The practice has 4 sites; Brownlow Group Practice, Ropewalks, Student Health and The Student Health Advice Centre. With a practice list size of over 38,000 patients they provide general medical services to a diverse population.
