Antenatal Care

If you have just found out you are pregnant, you can book for antenatal care at Liverpool Women’s Hospital without needing to see a doctor.  Simply ring 0151 2474747.

There is lots of useful advice about pregnancy on the NHS choices website here, and if you have concerns you can of course request to see a doctor or ring us for telephone advice.

There are currently free physical activity classes for pregnant women and new mums.  Click here for booking.

During the second half of your pregnancy your routine antenatal care will be led by the community midwife.  She will tell you when you should make an appointment, and her clinics for our patients are located as follows:

Ropewalks General Practice:  Monday mornings.

Student Health Centre:  Friday mornings.
